Has anyone experience this problem before. I have an excel template. Sheet 1 is where the data is being populated. Sheet 2 is a highly styled form. When I run the report, the columns are changed and it makes the form look out of whack. How can I set it so that it respects the formatting.

thanks,

jd

Is WebFOCUS doing sheet 2 or is Excel doing Sheet 2? There are things that WebFOCUS will not do, at least in 7.1.3, like freeze panes and hide columns. To do those things, write a macro that runs when the workbook opens.

In FOCUS since 1985. Prod WF 8.0.08 (z90/Suse Linux) DB (Oracle 11g), Self Serv, Report Caster, WebServer Intel/Linux.

i am having a similar issue which i had to issue a ticket with IBI. I had a fex post data to sheet 1. I then had sheet 2 running vb code behind the scenes. It works great in excel and in the excel template but when i ran the link on my html page to call the template and perform a refresh on the data it was looking for the \\server\template.

has anyone embedded vba code in the template ?
