Half the time when I create a HOLD file, the data from the query doesn't save the data in the HOLD file. Below is some code that does this issue...

TABLE FILE WEEKS
PRINT
WEEKS.WEEKS.CALFSYR
WEEKS.WEEKS.CALFSWK
WEEKS.WEEKS.STARTWEEK
J0.DW_DIM_TM.CALFSYR AS 'BEGINYEAR'
J0.DW_DIM_TM.CALFSWK AS 'BEGINWEEK'
WEEKS.WEEKS.ENDWEEK
J1.DW_DIM_TM.CALFSYR AS 'ENDYEAR'
J1.DW_DIM_TM.CALFSWK AS 'ENDWEEK'
ON TABLE HOLD AS STARTCOMPUTE
END

When I use this file to JOIN to a table. It only contains data for...

WEEKS.WEEKS.CALFSYR
WEEKS.WEEKS.CALFSWK
WEEKS.WEEKS.STARTWEEK
WEEKS.WEEKS.ENDWEEK

What am I missing here?! I have a feeling this is a rookie mistake...

I had a similar issue, but we had an IBI rep in house at the time. They had me save the first part to a hold file first, then join the hold file and it worked fine.

That's what it was doing for me as well, originally, before I put it in a different hold file before the join. Infact I have a case open on it 160316030.

I used a HOLD FORMAT FOCUS and it worked. Still... I wonder why regular HOLD didn't work that time.
