I was running the below code and it took more than 5 min to generate the graphs.

GRAPH FILE CAR
SUM SEATS
ACROSS COUNTRY
END

Can any one help me what could have gone wrong?

I just copied your graph code into our MRE environment on 4.3.6. The graph came back in less than 30 seconds. My server for WebFOCUS is 60 miles away. Are you having network issues, have you 'cleaned out temporary internet files' lately. Sometimes when I'm having strange things happen it is due to something getting left in cache.

I agree with Leah, possibly network errors. This runs for me in seconds in WebFOCUS 5.2.4
We are not using MRE.

Thanks for your reply.
The graphs used to work fine. Since couple of days we have this problem. If I set graphedit is off or on they work fine but they display in applet which are slower. If I leave the default graphedit to server I have this problem. I don't this this is a network issue, the tabular reports run very fast.

Is it some thing to deal with OS setting?

Has any one had this problem before?

We are using WF 5.2.6 on Win2k.

My next question would be then have you upgraded your OS recently - A security fix, added some monitor program - Have some memory 'hog' running at the same time.

I know when I went to WINXP Service Pack 2 the 'added' security caused headaches for my WebFOCUS usage.

Usually if it used to work, then something in the environment has changed.
