I am trying to create synonym thorough ODBC connection. While doing, I can see all the tables and views available in the source, But when I click on create synonym button with selected table, then I am getting an error

(FOC1568) DATASOURCE ALL_COLUMNS FOR SYNONYM IS NOT FOUND.

Do you know why I am getting this error?

Was the adapter configured correctly. If so check if the user id has necessary access.
Check if this helps.

Hi All,

RaviD let me know that this issue was resolved by adding the following command in the edasprof.prf file.

SET SYNONYM = BASIC

Cheers!

Kathryn
