Dear all,

I'm having some issues with encoding of JSON output.
If I run some fex in JSON format that data has special characters (ã,á, etc...) through App Studio, the json file works fine.
But if I run this fex from the Webfocus client (i.e., ajax get request), special characters go wrong...
Other formats, as dfix, works fine...

My environment:
Version: 8105m
Webfocus server: 137 (ISO-8859-1)
Webfocus client: 137 (ISO-8859-1)
Unix Server: ISO-8859-1

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
A.

How do the characters go wrong ?

Could it be a codepage difference ?

Hello Waz!
Thank you by answer.

For example, words with character "ã" returns à in the JSON file.

It seems that the report server tries to convert ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8.

I would make sure the reporting and client servers are set to the appropriate code page.

Client Server (Admin Console)

Reporting Server
