Hi,

The environment in webfocus was working perfectly alright till yesterday. Today whenI tried to explore, it thrown a error message that "Cannot access webfocus client /ibi_apps/wfservlet". I am unable to figure out what caused this issue all of the sudden.

Looking forward for some solution.

Hi,

Are you getting this error while opening Developer Studio or while executing any reports from remote browser?

Thanks,
Ram

When opening a specific environment in webfocus. We have PROD and TEST configured. PROD is OKAY. Only TEST has this problem.

I am unable to open the applications in DEveloper studio under TEST server.

When I right click on TEST and goto to properties, there is where I am getting this error

Try opening
http://test-ip-address:port/ibi_apps/
- BI portal welcome page from IE or any browers. Also check the properties of TEST Env configured in Dev Studio. More details to troubleshoot this issue available in below link

Hi RAm,

Thanks for your response. As I tried with many options and since none of it worked I have opened a case with Informaiton builders and got the problem solved.

Find the solution below. It might help someone.

ibi_apps.xml was missing in "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\conf\Catalina\localhost"

• Copied Ibi_apps.xml from production server to test server.
• Restarted the Apache Tomcat & ReportCaster 76 services on test server.
