Hello,

Can anyone help me with capturing the user entered values into a file for later processing till the end of the session. I don't want to save it to a file although I can use MODIFY and empty the file at the end.
Thanks in advance!

Dreddy.

Are you talking about values users enter into prompted variables? You should be able to use -WRITE.

If you want to save some &Vars for later use in a session, you can use FOCCACHE and -? & to do so.

Because the resulting fex is in FOCCACHE, it will persist till your session expires.

e.g. Save all &Vars beginning with Waz
-SET &Waz1 = '1' ;
-SET &Waz2 = '2' ;
-? &Waz SAVE FOCCACHE/wazvars

-SET &Waz1 = '3' ;
-TYPE &|Waz1: &Waz1
-TYPE &|Waz2: &Waz2

-MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE WAZVARS

-TYPE &|Waz1: &Waz1
-TYPE &|Waz2: &Waz2

Waz...
