[SOLVED] maintain update grid with dropdown choices?

I've been experimenting with using an update grid on my form because I'd like the user to be able to update multiple rows at a time, but I'd also like to restict what input can be used in specific collumns. So for instance, I have 4 collumns that would be updated:
Description - free text but a required field
Comment - free text but not required
Status - combobox choice of OK, WARNING, DOWN, UNKNOWN
Active - 0 or 1, ideally I'd like to use a checkbox

Is there any way for me to imbed form controls within an update grid or an html table on my form so that the controls can be used to update multiple records at once, rather than the user just typing free text?

As Dave points out, you can enhance the Grid with a drop down box. If you would like I can send you the presentation that you were pointed to. The code to add a check box looks like:

Form1.Grid1.GetCell(0,0);
Form1.Grid1.CellSetCellType(2);
Form1.Grid1.CellSetCellTypeEx(4096);
Form1.Grid1.SetCell(0,0);

You should be able to encorporate it just like the drop down boxes.

Please note that in release 7.7 we are introducing a JavaScript version of the grid, and that will allow you to use HTML code to add items like lists and checkboxes to the gird cells.

Great! I had become convinced it wasn't possible but it seems like it would be a common enough solution. I was able to get the presentation from the link so hopefully I should be all set.

I'd mark this "solved" but I really don't know how to change the title...
