Hi,

I have a PDF report that I need to print the results in multiple lines.

some thing like below..

1111 ABC SUPPLY (Fort Worth) TX
09/10/2007
4005 30001584 12X6-Box
09/12/2007
4028 30002314 TWP-1 QUICK DRY
5127 30005918 xyz-material

2222 XYZ SUPPLY HERRIN IL
09/10/2007
4050 30000341 abc-material

I tried using 'FOLD-LINE' and 'OVER'.
I am not able to use the FOLD-LINE for more than one line and using OVER I am not able to combine it with 'BY' field. I need to print the results by order-date and OVER wouldn't work using BY field.

Any suggestions/ideas would be apreciated.

Thanks,
DR.

     MAX.SIZE AS ''
     MAX.UNIT_PRICE AS ''
BY VENDOR_CODE NOPRINT
BY VENDOR_NAME NOPRINT
BY ORDER_DATE NOPRINT
ON VENDOR_NAME SUBHEAD
"</1 Vendor: <VENDOR_CODE <VENDOR_NAME"
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
  UNITS=IN, PAGESIZE='A4', LEFTMARGIN=0.194444, RIGHTMARGIN=0.194444,
                GRID=OFF,  TOPMARGIN=0.200000, BOTTOMMARGIN=0.100000,
                           SQUEEZE=ON, ORIENTATION=LANDSCAPE, $
 TYPE=REPORT, FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=8, COLOR=RGB(102 102 102),

Tony's solution is great and will work.
I lately found an other solution.
If you have more than one field you can first combine the fields you want per line into one field. Then create an extra field for the line number and then print these lines.
It was a lot more work but worth the effort.

Something like

DEFINE FILE CAR
STRING/A100=COUNTRY||' '||MODEL;
LINENUMBER=1;
END
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT STRING
BY LINENUMBER
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS H_ONE
END
DEFINE FILE CAR
STRING/A100=TYPE||' '||DESCRIPTION||' '||EDIT(SEATS);
LINENUMBER=2;
END
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT STRING
BY LINENUMBER
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS H_TWO
END
TABLE FILE H_ONE
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD AS HTOTAL
MORE
FILE H_TWO
END

Now from that hold file you can print the lines by line number, but you can not change the color, character style etc per element on that line.
