Has anyone installed WebFOCUS on a LINUX machine?

Has anyone accessed MYSQL from WebFOCUS running on a LINUX machine

Would you be willing to serve as a contact for questions from the server administrator?

We are just starting the project, software is on order.

We have WebFOCUS loaded on a RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 3. We unfortunatly are licensed to connect only to oracle databases though we are assured that we could go against others in the future if we upgrade the license.

One word of caution. It seems this product is usually installed on Windows because there is a bug with names. Do yourself a favor and name all reports with lowercase names in devstudio. We ran into an issue where we would click on a report in dev studio to run it and webfocus told us the file did not exist. It turns out that the software forces all names to lower case on the server but DevStudio thought it was mixed case. The linux server is case specific while windows installs are not.

Hope this helps with other issues.

Sorry about not having MySQL experience with WebFOCUS and feel free to email me with Linux/WebFOCUS questions if I can help.
