Hi guys,

I created report with output format type as EXL2K.

When excel is populated with data i am getting "Number stored as text" error with red icon on top of each cell.

I need to remove it for all the cells when data is being populated in excel from report.

Can you guys tell step by step procedure to achieve this.It will be great help to us.

Thanks in advance.

In Excel, turn on macro recording and carry out the following -

For Excel 2007:

1.Click the Office button.
2.Click the Excel Options button.
3.Click Formulas in the left column.
4.Under Error Checking, clear the Numbers Formatted As Text Or Proceeded By An Apostrophe check box.

Stop the recording and you have your VBA code to use in an Excel template - use the search link above and search on "excel templates" also see the "Published Tips and Techniques" link.

Macros, or VBA, is MS Excel code and not WebFOCUS.

If you need macros then you need to venture to templates. If that is not an option then you're snookered.
