I tried to find the user group who had access to certain reports and get the user information for drop down list in html page.

As you are on 5.3.2, its probably in the basedir folder under the webfocus53 directory.

There are many suggestions in the forum for extracting the users/groups from the MRE repository, usually using MREXTRACT.

I would suggest updating your signature to 7.6.6

Have you looked at the MREXTRACT functionality ?

Do a search of the forum, there are many posts on this.

Thanks for the info. We have WF 766 installed. What do you mean by updating the signature for 766?
