[CLOSED] 8.2.0.1 - Dashboard Responsive Panel Won't Stay Maximized.
I have a dashboard built in a 8.1 version where I have a responsive panel maximized with the header bar hidden and I have multiple graphs (3 wide) within the panel that are capable of maximizing and restoring as needed to blow them up to full screen for better detail then restoring (Minimizing) back to their original placement. The first report is an HTML page that has the parameter choices to control the entire dashboard. Everything works great.

I have tried to replicate this in our new 8.2.0.1 system and a few undesirable things happen.

1.) When building, I can maximize the responsive panel and ad all the reports and HTML parameter page and everything looks great, but then during use, the first time you maximize any of the reports nothing happens so you have to then click the drop down choices and restore the report then maximize it and it works from that point on.

2.) Along with #1 when you restore the maximized report it restores the panel so all of the reports are no longer visible with having a scroll bar on the panel. I don't know why it is restoring (minimizing) the panel when all it should be doing is restoring the report.

3.) when I maximize the HTML page that has the users parameter choices and come back, I get an error message that says "This HTML Page is designed to work inside of the BI Portal. Please add the HTML Page to a BI Portal Page and try again." Don't know what that means.

any help or info would be appreciated

Thanks

You can build responsive HTML pages and then when you create a portal it can also be a responsive portal. Two distinctively separate things. I honestly haven't done a lot of either but I am thinking you may want to attempt this with the portal and not the html pages. It sounds like you have quite a few objects to manage and it may be easier to organize them in the portal vs an html page.
You create Portals from within the Web interface not App Studio.
