[SOLVED] calling a SQL stored procedure from an MR Domain

I'm a newbie and pretty lost on how to call a stored procedure. The procedure below was written in one of the EDASERVE application folders and ran successfully. However, when I copy the same code to a procedure in an MR Domain, I get an error: "ERROR_MR_FEX_NOT_FOUND Can't create item object based on provided item key sp_lghrpt_PathServiceDemo.fex".
I don't quite understand why it would work from the application but not from MR but there is a lot that I don't understand about WebFocus. Any help would be much appreciated!

-* set the SQL database connection
-SET &START_DT = '10/01/2009';
-SET &END_DT = '11/01/2009';
-* set the SQL database connection
SQL SQLMSS SET SERVER PARAGON
SQL SQLMSS
-* execute the stored procedure
EX sp_lghrpt_PathServiceDemo '&START_DT.EVAL','&END_DT.EVAL';
-RUN
-* save the results into a hold file
TABLE FILE SQLOUT
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD AS TMPOUT

-* table the hold file and format for viewing

Hi jj,

Try this:

  
-MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE foldername/focexecname.fex


This will call your program from the APP folder the focexec is in.

OR

  
-MRNOEDIT BEGIN
-* set the SQL database connection
-SET &START_DT = '10/01/2009';
-SET &END_DT = '11/01/2009';
-* set the SQL database connection
SQL SQLMSS SET SERVER PARAGON
SQL SQLMSS
-* execute the stored procedure
EX sp_lghrpt_PathServiceDemo '&START_DT.EVAL','&END_DT.EVAL';
-RUN
-* save the results into a hold file
TABLE FILE SQLOUT
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD AS TMPOUT
END

TABLE FILE TMPOUT
PRINT *
END
-MRNOEDIT END


This stops the Managed Reporting engine from parsing the code and just executing the procedure...

Another possibility is to add the database the stored proc is in, i.e.

EX database.dbo.sp_lghrpt_PathServiceDemo '&START_DT.EVAL','&END_DT.EVAL';

or something like that...
