We are switching to AD as part of the move to version 8105 and I switched the reporting server security from OPSYS to LDAP; now users are authenticated through AD but logged in with softwares ID instead of their own. Fexes are created with softwares ID rather than users own id. Is there a setting for this?

Are you using AD groups for authentication?

There are 2 types in the security.

1) Authentication against AD - Adding LDAP configuration to WebFocus will take care of this. It looks like you already did this.
2) Authorization using AD - You need to link the AD groups with the WebFocus group.
