This is a great question for a SQL Server forum.

Use Data Migrator (iWay). Very simple.

If you want to copy entire tables (all rows and all columns) you can use the so-called "Quick ETL Copy" from the Web Console. Select a synonym or an application directory, right click to bring up the context menu and select it. Specify your target adapter and connection and run. It generates procedures to copy the table(s) you've selected and runs them.

Your question is better suited to an SQL Server forum, or a quick Google as well.

But, if you have SQL Server Management Studio, there are tasks available like Import that can do this.

Avinash, I think the common suggestion you'll find here is to use the right tool for the job.

If you want to move from Oracle to SQL Server (I personally would not call that an "upgrade" but that is just a personal opinion) then why not trying something directly in the SQL Server arena that would help you?

Trying to force that data to be moved across those 2 platforms through WebFOCUS / Data Migrator may seem like an overkill, especially since it may need to be done only once.

As other have stated check into SQL Server forums for guidance or better yet, ask your Microsoft representative for support. I'm sure they'll be glad to know you plan on leveraging their toolset even further and will likely provide you with easier means to get it done.
