We have a report. It runs fine EXCEPT when the user chooses to run for ALL companies. I am assuming its some sort of timeout or too many records issue...but what can I do to determine what exactly is going on. I turned echo on and see this:

What exact version of WebFOCUS are you using?
What's the DBMS you're reading?
How many records are you bringing back?
Are you joining data from different DBMS's to each other?
Have you looked at he Reporting Server logs to see what exactly causes the problem and what other error messages there are?

The number of records returned shouldn't cause you to get errors.

The 6000 error is basically a catch all error.

Something has gone wrong, but can't be determined.

You should check the WebFOCUS logs, and also the Reporting server for crashed agents, and also the EDAPRINT log.
