Have a sql server that had object (new stored Proc), but it is not showing up on the Available Objects list for us to create a synonym against. Do you have to rerun the process

1. What version of WebFOCUS are you using?
2. Which SQL Server adapter did you configure?
3. Does WebFOCUS user have access to that SP?
4. Can you see other SPs or objects? Does WebFOCUS have the same access rights to these objects as the new object?

As long as the uid you are using to connect to SQL Server has the right granted to see the object you should be able to create synonym for it.

Welcom to Focal Point. It is a great forum to get answers to your development questions.

Another thing to consider is that when you create synonyms the default is to show tables and views. There is a drop down called 'Restrict object types' to select stored procedures

Thank you for using Focal Point!
