Hi guys,

I have to develop a compound report (2 reports) in PDF format. The 2nd report should start from, where 1st report gets end. Both report have same heading and footing notes.
I am applying OPEN NOBREAK/CLOSE between reports, for achieving compound report.

I am facing issue with heading/footing on joining page, as I am getting double heading and double footing there. I want to remove footing of 1st report and heading of 2nd report, on joining page.
  • Footing of 1st should display till 2nd last page of the 1st report.
  • Heading of 2nd report should display from 2nd page.

Please suggests me, how can I achieve my desire solution.

Regards,
Sandy

Since you have the same Heading/Footing for both reports, built only one set of data from your two sources then print the report. You can then add line-break or subhead/subfoot to create spaces between both reports.

Or is that because even if they have the same Heading/Footing, they don't have the same displayed data ?

Please provide sample, it usually helps to understand.

Hi Sandy,
I see you seem to be on 7.6 and I can't quite remember all that is available for those releases.

Are you able to use the HTML compound report functionality? If so, you can use the page master to set common footings and headings.

If I remember correctly, I found it easier in 7.6 to add the page master before adding the report components to the page.
