Has anyone experienced the disappearing Internet Explorer (browser) window while executing a fex via the run button in Dev Studio on a machine running Vista? The run button may work properly once, or even a number of times until the browser disappears instead of displaying the expected results (the HTML output from the fex). Iexplore.exe is still listed as a task manager process. Then after the iexplore.exe process is ended (via: end process tree) the run button will work at least once.

This is experienced on my laptop running WF DevStudio 764 stand-alone with Output to PDF, Exl2k, HTML, whatever.

Thanks Rich,
I can hardly wait to try this. Unfortunately, that won't be till this evening...

Your reply eliminated the need for me to open a case on this...

I have had several problems with Webfocus 764 interfaces and IE7. I switched to the Firefox browser and have not had any problems since.

Thanks John,

While FireFox does work. I need more then a work-around... I need to be able to use IE7. Hopefully, I'll get an answer tonight as per Rich's reply.

Unfortunately, I can't post my results till this evening as I cannot get to that machine till then.
