I am totally new to Webfocus and my organization is migrating all content from cognos to Webfocus. We are trying to create dimensional hierarchies in Webfocus to mimic cognos cubes.

I created a Business view to represent all the dimensions, their levels and the measures. When I try to open this master file from designer or infoassist, it shows the levels and their level names for dimensions in the left pane, but it does not show the data underneath them. I remember their used to be a folder created called "values" and this folder will contain all the actual data from database to show values in each level. You can expand individual values to drill down an see its child values. Is there a setting to enable this feature?

Any help here is much appreciated

Welcome to Focal Point! I think you will find it a great place to get answers to your development questions.

I have seen what you are talking about before but I can't find any synonyms that expose the values under the dimensions. I will keep looking but hopefully someone else knows the secret.

Thank you for using Focal Point!
