I have sorted two fields and subhead them. Can I adjust the alignment of second Subhead to a little bit right OR place it at position 3?

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
FIELD1 OVER
FIELD2 OVER
FIELD3
ACROSS ACCSORT1
BY SORT1
BY SORTA NOPRINT
BY SORTB NOPRINT
ON SORTA SUBHEAD
"ON SORTB SUBHEAD
"END

You can do this for HTML output.

DEFINE FILE CAR
FILL/A5 = ' ';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
RCOST OVER
DCOST OVER
SALES
ACROSS COUNTRY
BY MPG
BY CAR NOPRINT
BY MODEL NOPRINT
ON CAR SUBHEAD
"<CAR"
ON MODEL SUBHEAD
"<FILL <FILL <FILL <MODEL"
END

The defined field in the above posting is a space in html (&) nbsp. When posted in the message it converted to an actual space. When creating the defined field set the value to be equal to an html space of Ampersand nbsp.
DEFINE FILE CAR
FILL/A5 = '(&)nbsp';
END
remove the ()

If I'm not mistaken you must do it like this:

FILL/A5 = '&' | 'nbsp';

This way WebFOCUS doesn't think it's an amper variable....

I guess we can make it work on PDF too, correct me if I'm wrong.

DEFINE FILE CAR
FILL/A5 = ' ';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
RCOST OVER
DCOST OVER
SALES
ACROSS COUNTRY
BY MPG
BY CAR NOPRINT
BY MODEL NOPRINT
ON CAR SUBHEAD
"<CAR"
ON MODEL SUBHEAD
-IF &FORMAT EQ 'PDF' THEN GOTO DOPDF ELSE GOTO -DOHTML;
-DOHTML
"<FILL <FILL <FILL <MODEL"
-GOTO ENDFORMAT;
-DOPDF
"<10 <MODEL"
-ENDFORMAT
END
