Hello,

I am trying to use the selected value of a dropdown selection box in another object (a listbox) to filter the data that is present in the list box. I am able to manually set a where statement on the listbox to do the filter (WHERE TMTEQUIPCOMPONENTS.TYPE = 'TRACTOR'). I have also been able to store the selected value of the dropdown (TRACTOR) into a variable in the Embedded JavaScript, I just have not been able to figure out how to link the two objects together so that when I select TRACTOR in the dropdown only TRACTOR related TMTEQUIPCOMONENTS.TYPE of TRACTOR are displayed.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Dan

When in the HTML composer, click on the 'Parameters' tab below. Here you need to link the listbox with the variable. You might want to look further into the feature of 'chaining', which can be interesting.
