Hi,

following situation:

I have a Standard Report scheduled each morning via Report Caster.
Report Caster generates some Graph-Files as PNGs, via
APP HOLD BASEAPP
located in "\ibi\apps\baseapp\"

Now I want to insert these PNGs in an HTML-Page, either in an Managed Reporting-Fex or in an Fex located on EDA-Serve.

Unfortunately, it does not work.

I really would appreciate any help.

Kind regards,

Stefan

Stefan,

For an image to be displayed it has to be available via a URL on your webserver - this will be where IIS, WebSphere, Apache etc. is installed.

If you installed the "standard" stuff with WebFOCUS then an virtual directory would have been configured in your webserver called "approot". This will point to your [install directory]\ibi\apps folder on the Client install (which is not necessarily the same server as your EDASERVE reporting server). Therefore to access something that's in your baseapp folder you would reference is as ../approot/baseapp/imagefile.png.
