Is it possible for InfoAssist to have a calendar picker for date/date-type fields for Filters or Prompts?

Right now a user has to type in the date value (01/02/2003) and i"m not sure if the format of what the user typed in as to match the format the values are stored in.

Not that I've heard anything about...

You can add the format, informative text only, to a prompt for them.

There is a New Feature Request to add this.

Please open a support case if you would like this feature as well.

Any updates on a calendar picker for InfoAssist users? Did that NFR ever spawn any good news at all?

HI CoolGuy,

I am following up with you regarding your post to the Calendar picker topic.

As of WebFOCUS 8103 the calendar has been implemented into InfoAssist.

In WebFOCUS 8104 I have verified that you can select the calendar with the Filter option when you select a date as the basis for the filter.

Give it a try in your WebFOCUS 8105 InfoAssist.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Kindest regards,

Hi Tamra,

Thank you for your information. I actually know the InfoAssist user themselves can choose dates from a calendar picker control when trying to set up a filter, slicer, etc. now. To clarify, I was wondering if we could insert a calendar picker control/prompt for the end user to choose from when the report is ran.

Thus far, I've only seen Active Report prompts that can be dropdown, list, checkbox, radio, or text controls. What if there is a date field being used as a sort in the report and you want to allow the user to pick what date to sort by via a prompt in the end document?

So, I'm looking for a calendar control the end end user of the report can utilize when they run the report.

Any ideas as to whether that is a thing at all? Or is that in the works within the product dev team at all yet?

Thanks!
