I am trying to select a light green backcolor for a excel report. I'm using APP STUDIO to display alternating colors in every row, like this:

TYPE=DATA,
    FONT='IBIDEFAULT',
    SIZE=9,
    COLOR='BLACK',
    BACKCOLOR=( 'WHITE' 'LIME' ),
    STYLE=BOLD,
$

Does anyone know of a lighter shade of green than the "electric looking" LIME ?

Thank you.

I like my first line to be a color instead of white.

For 'light green' we use the Bootstrap 'Success' background color:
BACKCOLOR=( 'WHITE' RGB(#dff0d8) )

TABLE FILE GGSALES
"Bootstrap Light Green"
PRINT REGION DOLLARS
IF SEQ_NO LE 6
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
 INCLUDE=warm.sty, $
 TYPE = DATA, COLUMN = SEQ_NO, JUSTIFY=CENTER,$
 TYPE = DATA, BACKCOLOR=( 'WHITE' RGB(#dff0d8) ) , $
ENDSTYLE
END

So, I have this to display alternating colored rows in my report.

TYPE=DATA,
     COLUMN=N4,
     BACKCOLOR=('WHITE' 'GREEN'),
$

How do I code the COLOR tag TO ALTERNATE colors so if
BACKCOLOR='GREEN' the COLOR='WHITE',
AND if
if BACKCOLOR='WHITE' the COLOR='BLACK' ???

Thank you.

Use conditional styling -

TABLE FILE GGSALES
SUM DOLLARS
    COMPUTE FLIPFLOP/I1 = ABS(LAST FLIPFLOP - 1); NOPRINT
 BY REGION
 BY ST
 BY STCD
ON TABLE SET PAGE NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
grid=off, $
type=data, backcolor=white, color=green, when=FLIPFLOP EQ 0, $
type=data, backcolor=green, color=white, when=FLIPFLOP EQ 1, $
ENDSTYLE
END

Now, if I could only get 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' out of my head it will be a good day. :-)

”Lighter Shade” is one of my favorite early psychedelic songs. The organ is simply eerie!

Tony: You never cease to amaze me with the FLIPFLOPping... I actually did that to simulate the good ol' Green Bar Paper, using a COUNTER from 1 to 6, reset bact to 1 when it's GT 6 (etc), and WHEN the COUNTER was LT 4 then LightGrren ELSE White (Pseudo Code Only).
Tom: There you have it, multiple thoughts Smiler and some inspiration from Procol Harum,

OK, I'm getting carried away with this: Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade of Pale, live in Denmark 2006, The Original.
