I created a Active report format. It works great until someone tries to enact the rollup function, where an the good 'ol error is thrown on the browser, "'length' is null or not an object" in line 1 char 1.
Does anyone know how to fix this or what is wrong with my data to cause this? It would be really nice to be able to use the rollup function.

An example of what I might do is Rollup Cost by Date.

Thanks,

The thing about it is, I have several other reports in Active Report format that work fine when using the rollup function. As such, I'm sure an example in CAR OR GGSALES would probably work also.
I'm trying to figure out exactly which metrics are causing the problem. I was only wondering if someone had previously experienced this problem, and whether or not they could pinpoint the cause.
I will update the thread with my findings (if any).

I figured out the one thing that is causing issues. When I create a table of contents using ON TABLE SET COMPOUND 'BYTOC 2', the Rollup and Pivot functionalities return 'length' is null or not an object errors.

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
CAR.COMP.CAR
CAR.CARREC.MODEL
CAR.SPECS.MPG
CAR.SPECS.FUEL_CAP
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT AHTML
ON TABLE SET COMPOUND 'BYTOC 2'
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
INCLUDE = endeflt,
$
TYPE=REPORT,
LINES-PER-PAGE=20,
$
ENDSTYLE
END

I would still prefer to use the table of contents as my report is delivering 30 days worth of data, and the contents allow easy reference. Does anyone know how to fix this now?
