But i want the output should looks like the below(Want the count of serials in a cell) :

Can anyone please help me here to achieve this in a cross tab report. Any help will be appreciated.

Like this?

DEFINE FILE CAR
	DUMMY_TITLE/A20 = 'Count of Serials';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
	SUM CNT.SALES AS ''
	BY	DUMMY_TITLE AS ''
	ACROSS CAR
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
END

This way?

DEFINE FILE CAR
T1/A20 = 'Count of Sales';
T2/A20 = 'Count of Std';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
	SUM CNT.SALES
	BY T1
	BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS HH FORMAT ALPHA
END
FILEDEF HH DISK HH.FTM (APPEND
TABLE FILE CAR
	SUM CNT.STANDARD
	BY T2
	BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE SAVE AS HH
END
TABLE FILE HH
SUM SALES AS ''
BY T1 AS ''
ACROSS COUNTRY
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
END

Better yet,

that's even easier.

TABLE FILE CAR
	SUM CNT.SALES AS 'count 1' OVER
		CNT.SEATS AS 'count 2'
	ACROSS CAR
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
END

Oh, and please consider some WebFocus education. We're not a helpdesk.

Dave,
You can do that IF the serials are from the same file AND in the same path...
