I am having issues with seeing an oddly high amount of crashes occurring in my reports.

Does anyone know how stable using SQL pass-thru for SQL Server 2000 is? The dashboard that I am having trouble with has 6 reports that run at once. In the last 5 times I ran the dashboard I had 2 crashed agents on two different reports.

Is there a problem with error handling? Is it possible that I might be getting SQL Server errors and the pass-thru doesn't know how to handle it?

Any insight into this process would be helpful for debugging this issue.

Hi Eric,

Per our internals: Since an agent crash is somewhat generic and could be caused by anything, your best bet would be to open a case and work with Customer Support Services to determine exactly what the problem is. The basic first steps are to remove the client and
run it from the server console and see if it occurs. Next would be to remove any stylesheets, etc.

To open a case, please either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.

Cheers,

Kerry
