Does anyone know if there is a way to capture to an 'offline' file the values you get back from

? SET
? SET STYLE
? SET GRAPH

I have tried to simply wrap them with an OFFLINE and OFFLINE CLOSE command but they come back to my TSO screen.

I hav also tried it via JCL/batch and it will echo to the system message (SYSPRINT).

I want to build a utility that will capture all of these values at anytime for comparision purposes from release to release and for platform to platform.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Rich

Rich, are you in FOCUS or WEBFOCUS, and what release? If this is FOCUS on MVS, then you can use Session Monitor to capture the output. I do it all the time. If WEBFOCUS, then the release is important, because we need to capture (as you saw, basically SYSOUT).

Noreen..
On the Host we are 7.3.2

On WebFOCUS we are:

4.3.6 in Production
5.3.3 in RnD and Dev

One of the things we want to do is compare setting between all 3 environments.

Thanks
