I have a html page with a drop down format list and a frame that contains an preloaded report with drilldowns. After selecting an item from the dropdown list and clicking on the link in the report, the selection will not passed to the drilled report. It's as though the link is loaded prior to the selection from the drill down. I have tried the normal was of associating the param with the list box and also with creating an edit box, associating the param with the edit box and populating the edit box with the selection from the drop down using jsvascript. Neither works.

You're trying to take a variable that is not contained in your fex and pass it to a drilldown. Is your drilldown always executing the same report? Can you instead put a submit button in the frame with the drop down and replace the report with the "drill down" in frame2?
