I can't help, but I am curious why you're doing a CGI call instead of a Servlet call.

We are using both Servlet and CGI. Very long story to why we are still using the CGI calls

John, that looks ugly - looks like some type of error in the C code.

Not to state the obvious, but I take it you have installed CGI since it's not part of the default intallation.

Probably have to open a ticket for that one.

Are you running a secure WFRS server? If so, how are you passing the credentials to your CGI call? A 32074 is the error code that normally tells WF to prompt the user for credentials because they are required and are not present in the request or a cookie.

Some users are getting a similar error here as well:

FATAL_16: Can't open include 'c£' FINAL_ERROR: from /prog/edaport/R720534B/source/wfccmds.c at line 1238 /prog/edaport/R720534B/source/wfccmds.c$Revision: 1.37 $ Jun 8 2005

Has anyone seen anything like this before? I'm not sure what piece of the text to search for on Tech Support.

It seems to occur from only some PC's and perhaps is a firewall issue, I'm just surprised the error comes from the WebFOCUS server and not the firewall or elsewhere.

Search on that. I found a couple of potentially useful entries right at the beginning of the list.

Francis,

My error was due to an improper license key. The install accepted the license key in the beginning and worked fine for a few months. Then i started to receive that error i posted above.
