[SOLVED] Portal disappeared after entering "% of Sales" in the title

We have a Portal that has been working fine but when we changed the title of one of the panels to "% of Sales", the portal disappeared. It appears blank but if you click anywhere on the portal the panels and titles appear and you then see the spinner.

We've waited over 20 minutes and it hasn't resolved itself. I'm thinking that putting a "%" at the beginning of a Panel Title is a very bad idea.

Has anyone else had this experience and if so, were you able to recover from it?

Thank you,

Solution: There was no way to edit the portal and change the panel title. But, we selected the portal name from the Home Page and used the translations option to remove the % sign from the title.

The portal is working again.

FYI,

Changing the name can be done in the repository at a DB level.

Also, with this sort of issue, checking for js errors with developer tools can be useful, and lastly checking the WF client logs.

Waz...
