Hi,

I am looking for some solution with the email functionality.
This is what my requirement is, I need to loop through number of lines returned by my query and send the email for each row of data by formatting into PDF. I could achieve this functionality using EDAMAIL but when this call is issued it seems waiting for the email server to send the email and not proceeding with the loop to send the other email. It seems this is working as synchronous call. Is there any way I can make it as asynchronous?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank You
Sandhya

Since no one has been able to provide a suggestion, please open a case with techsupport and hopefully they can help.

You might want to look into running it as a deferred request but keep the process synchronous. There are methods for running async, but then you would be running a new agent for every EDAMAIL and you could end up tying up all your agents.

Did you try Report Caster bursting with dynamic email distribution option?

Thanks,
