Usually major releases come out in the spring right before Tech Summit. The last schedule I printed out said Q1 but I think Q2 is more likely. I'm still waiting to find out what the new features are.

And not to be negative, but the first gen of major releases has been known (!!) to have enough little "quirks" to make it a nuisance. I have never installed a first gen major release. So whatever the release date is, wait for dot-2.

Darin

Not to be even more negative, but if v7.6.2 was such a wonderful release, why am I having trouble with 7.6.5?

We're on 7.6.6 also - seems to work fine. We're in the process of upgrading from 5.2 and it's going pretty smooth. No MRE and most of it isn't from the GUI though.

I had issues with 7.6.2. Unless there's some uber-awesome feature of 7.7 I probably wouldn't wait. I *think* Dev Studio is supposed to be all AJAX-ified (???). If that's the case, I definitely wouldn't to be the guinnea pig for that one from a Production standpoint.
