I have a focexec that creates ampere variables that are passed using the !IBI_AMP parameter to a HTML page that is called at the bottom of the focexec with a -HTMLFORM.

I want to add the functionality to drill down on a value displayed on the HTML page. What is the best approach for adding this functionality to the HTML page? Can someone point me to WebFOCUS documentation on how to do this? I do not have access to Developer Studio so I will have to modify the HTML code directly.

This is in a Windows/WebFOCUS 7.1.7 environment.

I'd do them separately. That is:
1) Create a fex "that creates ampere variables" (I'm guessing that you mean to set value to variables and that "!IBI_AMP" should be "!IBI.AMP.VarName;").
2) Create the fex which will be executed when the "Run" button is clicked on the html form (AKA Launch Page).
3) Create the Launch Page (filename.htm) using the HTML Composer. This launch page will have a "Run" button to run the fex, mentioned in step 2.

Hi,
You can use form elements and using javascript dynamically change the drill value and call the fex to be executed. Values to be passed, IBIAPP_app, IBIF_ex, drill_value.
Thanks,
Ram
