The layer within maintain can provide this effect. This can be achieved by developing with multiple layers with a tab-alike screen. To effect a change this requires a return to the maintain server to set the layers visible.

The more layers, the more resources used though.

Another approach is to use a tabbed html composer page and have individual maintain applications within each tab. For this approach the maintain should run non-persistent.

If this is a requirement, the initial design process needs to be done carefully with a full understanding of Maintain, otherwise there are pitfalls that can make this more complicated, difficult to develop and inefficient than it needs to be.

To add my thoughts to Alan's...

Maintain does not have a Tab feature but what clients have done is create multiple forms to mimic a tab structure. I actually recommend it more than use the layers feature as multiple forms are easier to develop than one form with many objects.

At the top of the main form create a series of buttons that mimic the tabs. Clicking each button should bring you to the desired page. From the child page you can either return to the parent or set it up so you can go to the other 'tabs' (buttons). If you want the user to be able to bounce around the forms with out returning to the parent let me know and I can get you that technique.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for Reply!!
As per your suggestion, I have developed the pages in maintain and found persistence issues with it.

Hi Mark,

Yes I need to give this functionality. Please share that technique.

Thanks
Neelima
