Hi all,

In my report, i want to subtotal based on a column and a final total. Report should be in EXL2K format.

i have written the following code to do this.

I want the subfooter heading with department value to be printed in first 5 cols and invoice_amount in a separate column.

How could i do this?

SUBFOOTER1/A80 = 'Total by Dpt';
SUBFOOTER2/A80 = 'Total';

ON DEPARTMENT SUBFOOT
" ON TABLE SUBFOOT
"
TYPE=SUBFOOT,
STYLE=BOLD,
HEADALIGN=INTERNAL,
$

TYPE=SUBFOOT,
ITEM=1,
STYLE=BOLD,
COLSPAN=5,
JUSTIFY=RIGHT,
$
TYPE=SUBFOOT,
ITEM=2,
STYLE=BOLD,
COLSPAN=1,
JUSTIFY=RIGHT,
$

Thanks in advance.

Vasantha,

First, please update your signature.

Second, when you post some code, please enclose it between CODE tags (the right-most icon) otherwise pieces will disappear (see your line after SUBFOOT).

If someone want the subtotal to appear below a certain column. How do we specify that in style?
I have been trying
TYPE=SUBFOOT,
BY=1,
LINE=1,
OBJECT=FIELD,
ITEM=1,
POSITION='N3',
$

But not getting the desired output.

Thanks

Chirag

If you have a question, please start a new subject yourself.

It's a bit confusing for the one who started this that you come with an other somehow related point.
