I am trying to write a report in WF7.7 which must be writen in IA in one pass through (it can not have hold files).

I have a parent field and 5 child fields. Each of the child fields have an assoicated location and result. I need to be able to return the parents that contain a child with a specific location and an additional child with a specific result. I do do want to return parents that have ORs or None

Example: Parent A
Has Child 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Child 1 lives in the West and is happy
Child 2 lives in the East and is sad
Child 3 lives in the North and is sad
Child 4 lives in the South and is happy
Child 5 lives in the North and is sad
Parent B
Has Child 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Child 1 lives in the West and is sad
Child 2 lives in the East and is sad
Child 3 lives in the North and is sad
Child 4 lives in the South and is sad
Child 5 lives in the North and is sad

I want a parent returned if the parent has a child that lives in the North and a Child that is Happy.

Parent A would be retunred, but parent B would not because although parent B has 2 children who live in the North he does not has a child that is happy.

I can write this in DEV Studio, but need to know if it is possible in Info Asssit.

Did you use hold files in DevStudio to build the current report? Can you post the code? Thanks

following infoassist code gives the report as needed.Here the output returns the "category" whose region is either 'Northeast'(North as in your requirement) or Product is 'Espresso'(happy in your requirement)
