[CLOSED] What to do about "an active session for this user already exists"
We just upgraded everything in TEST/ DEV and now one of our users is getting the "an active session for this user already exists" message.
We've cleared all cache in all browsers, terminated all AppStudio sessions, signed out of any IBI_Apps sessions, and shut down and restart their system.
What else needs to be done.
In the meantime, we're deleting the offending environment now and re adding it.

I am assuming this is version 8.2. You might want to look at the Administration console under the Security tab and Session Management. By default the maximum sessions is 1. I'm not sure if this is what is happening in this case but wanted to point it out.

I can't see Session Management - how exactly do you get to this ? We are on 8.1.04

The only thing I see on 8.1.04 is under the Administrtion Console / Account Policies there is a setting for IBI_Multiple_Logins_Per_User that by default is true.
