[NOT RESOLVED YET] BIP - Portal Design Mode - Left Justify text in a Text box
I added a Text box in the banner of a BIP. I'd like to left justify this text but cannot find a way to do it. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I don't think IBI has given all the formatting options but To me I feel this is how I would do to achieve.

I can't figure out how you got "This is for Test...." to be left justified within the red dashed rectangle.

I still don't know how to left-justify text in a BIP text box.

Francis, How did you get BIP to not left-justify text?

How did I "get BIP to not left-justify text"? I cannot make the GUI do something as simple as this.

Where is the option to left justify the text in the text container?

Something in http://server/ibi_apps/bindows.../BIPCustom/theme.css is probably causing this and I don't see it. Meanwhile, what's really annoying is that css customization also affects the BIP Editor, which I don't believe it should.

The reason I worded my question that way is because it seems like text is left-justified for everyone else except for you. I don't see an option to change justification either. I don't know what you did with your css customization but something from that might be messing up your justification.

This is worse than I thought.

That text container has an HTML text box in it which contains the text I typed in. That text box is editable by the user!!! How stupid is that?

All I want to do is add some text to the banner of a BIP.

We opted to just change our logo - and add the text to the logo.

Not ideal I know - but it did brand the BIP the way we wanted.

Can you imagine the only alternative to including text in the banner image is to add a block that points to an HTML file that contains the text? Ludicrous.

That is how we handled this situation, as well.
