Ok, I need to disable certain commands from a Developer. Mainly "MATCH FILE", anyone know how this can be done besides Resource Governor.

Thanks
Scott

Using the wayback machine to remember a couple of decades ago , on mainframe FOCUS used LET commands to shutdown things. I believe the syntax was LET MODIFY=secuitry but please check. Also be careful you could keep code form working.

Tex,
Is your developer a coder?
If so and you equate MATCH to something else, for example:
LET MATCH = ' '
and you user codes:
MATCH FILE CAR
...
WF will respond with:
(FOC1517) UNRECOGNIZED COMMAND FILE CAR

I think the LET maybe the only way to go. Thanks for the suggestions.
