I am testing mailing labels on 7.7.1 and for some reason they are not spaced out the same as in version 7.6.9. were any changes made.

We could not find the style sheet in
c:\ibi\desktop\home\bin\fclabel.sty

anyone else noticed this - do I need to amend the report

That's a strange location

It should be C:\ibi\DevStudio77\bin\fclabels.sty

I have searched the directory I still can't find the stylesheet.

Do you know if there were changes made between 7.6.9 and 7.7.02 with labels formatting or spacing?

I checked for it on 7.7.0.1.

It's always possible that it's been lost in .02

Simply copy the .sty file from the old system to the new and it should be OK.

It does not appear your program uses that style-sheet, wouldn't it have to be specified in the code somewhere?

I am not using the style sheet but because the output was different between the two versions I wondered if the style sheet would give me the dimensions.

My question really is : Is there a change between version 7.6.9 and 7.7.02 which would mean that I have to recode the dimensions for my labels report?

Jo, if you create a complete test version of your fex using one of the sample files (GGORDER, CENTORD, etc) we could then run it in different environments for verification.

There is nothing wrong with your styling.

If it's not behaving the same in 7.7.0.2 as in 7.69 I would raise a case with IBI.

Abolute positioning as you are using should not change between releases.

(obvious question you have not changed label suppliers have you?)

A cm is a cm an inch is an inch.

If they stop being, then almost every single system in the world that depends on measurement fails.

All I did was list the fields frpm the table

Hi I tried copying the fex in but the print statement does not seem to have come out
they were simply printing from persinfo and ordering by PERSINFO.PERSONAL.EMERGCONTACT

And the problem in on version 7.7.02 it's working okay on 7.6.9
