I thought I saw this somewhere...can not recall how to turn the Search Box feature on...Help!This message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,
Ok, I guess the control must be a listbox to be able to add the search box.
When I do so...now the list does not appear; ie the user is forced to use the Search Box. I want the user to be able to optionally use the search box OR scroll thru the value list to pick what they want. Are there settings for this?
well, I think I have it working.....I do not really like the user having to clear the 1 or #### from the box..nor the fact they have to hit the Search button...but it seems to work.
before I close this...does anyone know if there is a way to have the Search box open empty; ie WITHOUT the 1 thru 100 of 2109 (for example) present. This makes no sense to the user and I am not even sure what the 1 - 100 part means since all 2109 records are in the list and the sizing of the control only shows 15 or so anyway.....
