Hi Ya Folks,

I would like to change the styling of a slider that I'm using in a report. More specifically, I would like to change the colour of the text that appears under each notch (I don't know what to call them, you know, each spot where you can move the slider).

I've tried the GUI and CSS (I've tried modifying the .sliderContainer and .sliderOrdinal-labels classes) with no success. Can't really do much with the fex code, 'cause I don't know what to change/add there.

Can anyone help me out?

Thank you,

Please give some sample code using one of the sample files (and not your own Smiler)? If you can show what you're doing to generate your slider, then we might be able to assist.

Also, what browser(s) are you using? I ask because some are not great at allowing certain CSS.

Ok, so the chart animation slider - it helps if you explain what you are using in full Smiler

I found that I could change the slider rectangle using this code, so what have you tried?

-HTMLFORM BEGIN
<style>
.sliderHandle {fill: rgb(255, 0, 0) !important;}
</style>
-HTMLFORM END

To change the colour of the labels (that's what they are called) then you need to understand CSS a little.

For instance an exclamation mark (!) has to be escaped within a style section to \21, so the change the colour of the labels -

This is just the first one, repeat and change accordingly.
<style>
.sliderOrdinal-labels\21g0\21mgroupLabel\21 {fill: white !important;}
</style>

No really a WebFOCUS issue, more an understanding of how to code it within CSS?

Dude, you totally nailed it. Could you explain what/how that CSS is working up there? Works in IE and Chrome BTW. Thank you very much!

Didn't want to give you the wildcard version that Kofi gave you just incase it caused confusion. If you do not know CSS constructs then these can cause more issues than keeping it simple. Smiler

You just need to edit your first post and prefix the subject/title with [SOLVED].
