I have a luanch page built in the composer. I have added a new variable to the focexec it runs. I need this variable to be associated with a check box or radio button on the launch page.

Because the launch page was already built and linked to the focexec, when I added the checkbox, I need a way to associate the checkbox to the new variable.

How do I do that?

Try *not* adding the checkbox manually. In my experience, it is easier to just right-click the report control in HTML composer, select Hyperlink properties and re-select the procedure. Composer will re-parse the procedure and will give you a list of all parameters required. From there you should be able tot pick the new variable you had added and create a control for it.

Sorry I don't have access to Dev Studio at this moment so the steps I described may not be exactly as I outlined (I don't use Composer too much either) but I hope you'll get the idea of what can be done.

Near the bottom of the code for the page you'll find a section of "variable" tags. Add a new one for the the variable (which I shall call "my_variable") you added to your focexec:

<variable field="my_variable" name="my_variable"></variable>


After adding that code, the page should allow you to associate the variable with your checkbox.
