I would like to turn off the backcolor for the top row of each title ('The') in this example. Any ideas?

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
     CAR.SPECS.LENGTH AS 'The,Car,Length'
     CAR.SPECS.WIDTH AS 'The,Car,Width'
     CAR.SPECS.HEIGHT AS 'The,Car,Height'
     CAR.SPECS.WEIGHT AS 'The,Car,Weight'
BY CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY AS 'Country'
BY CAR.COMP.CAR AS 'Car'
BY CAR.CARREC.MODEL AS 'Model'
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET ASNAMES ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLEMBEDIMG ON
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *

The only reliable way is to use HEADALIGN:

-* File fp_meagher1.fex

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
     CAR.SPECS.LENGTH AS 'Car,Length'
     CAR.SPECS.WIDTH AS 'Car,Width'
     CAR.SPECS.HEIGHT AS 'Car,Height'
     CAR.SPECS.WEIGHT AS 'Car,Weight'

BY CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY AS 'Country'
BY CAR.COMP.CAR AS 'Car'
BY CAR.CARREC.MODEL AS 'Model'

HEADING
" <+0> <+0> <+0> The <+0 The <+0 The <+0 The"
