FRA-Saewar,

Have you tried using the XML Data Adapter to create your master file?

Exact as prodrigu said.

Configure the XML adapter.
Once configured, right-click on the connection and choose Create Synonym.
You will be prompted for the location of the XML file.

FRA-Sarwar,
Are you using a 7.6.7 Reporting Server?
If so, I will have to check whether Create Synonym from an XML document was available in that release.

Let me know.

FRA-Sarwar,
I successfully performed Create Synonym against an XML document in 767.

Make sure you specify XML instead of XSD in the first Create Synonym panel.

Also, ensure that the XML document is valid by running it through an XML validator.

Also, ensure that you specify an application to write the metadata.
