Sorry for the last post, I pasted some of the code in which made the thread unreadable unless you viewed the source. Couldnt delete it either unfortunately...the shame!

dhagen, thx for your reply. I had managed to change the input box to textarea & pass the values through. What I was wanting to do, which for the main part worked with the input box, was to bring back the !ibi.var. value of the current note so the original note could be edited. It worked nicely in the input box but just wouldnt wrap.
