We need to create a new hyperlink, with the following properties.

1) It should open up as a popup window with specific dimensions.
We tried using javascript to make it popup, it does popup but since we are tying to call a component of the dashboard, when it is pops up I believe that the security is not getting passed and we get a login error, but when opened on a differnent tab in the same window it works fine.
Is there a place to specify it to open up as a new popup window than a new tab, while creating the hyperlink. All I see is it open it in a new window.

2) The hyperlink text has the colour 'blue'; we need the before and after text colour to be white as it will be on a dark background.

For item 1, check out this link:

http://forums.informationbuild...1057331/m/8161030622

It uses javascript to invoke the drilldown, and since you've already developed in js, following it shouldn't be difficult.

For item 2, you can just use WebFOCUS styling..

TYPE=DATA,
COLUMN=drillDownField,
COLOR=WHITE,
